JOB DESCRIPTION
Main responsibilities:
- Install, check and dismantle audio, lighting, visual, stage, and other supporting equipment (e.g. LED screens, projectors, speakers, microphones, mixers, lights, trusses, etc.) according to the technical diagram and event requirements.
- Ensure absolute safety during equipment installation and operation.
- Transport and preserve equipment carefully and according to procedures.
Operation:
- Operate AV and stage systems throughout the event (including test runs, rehearsals, and main program).
- Coordinate closely with stage directors, event managers, and other relevant departments to ensure the program runs smoothly.
- Quickly and effectively handle technical problems that arise (if any).
- Monitor and adjust technical parameters to optimize sound, lighting, and image quality.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Report major technical issues to direct manager or professional maintenance department in a timely manner.
- Propose solutions to upgrade and improve equipment systems (if necessary).
Other tasks:
- Research and update new technologies, AV equipment and stages.
- Participate in the process of conceptualizing and designing technical events (if required).
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Work in shifts, including holidays, weekends and overtime (depending on event schedule).
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of experience working in similar position in Event Agency.
- Have in-depth knowledge of sound, lighting, image and stage systems.
- Understand popular AV and stage equipment (e.g. digital mixer, line array speakers, moving head lights, LED screens, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and stage drawings.
- Have knowledge of labor safety, especially electrical safety.
- Skill in operating AV and stage equipment proficiently.
- Skill in handling technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Good independent and team working skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Effective time management and work arrangement skills.
- Capability to endure high pressure working environment
- Good negotiation skill, good team-work and collaboration.
- Well organized, excellent time management.
- Capability to deliver and manage multiple projects at the same time.
